Our privacy policy is simple: your files are yours. When you paste a link and convert it on Pondofy, we process the request on our servers and temporarily store the resulting audio or video file so you can download it. That file is automatically and permanently deleted from our servers 1 hour after conversion — no exceptions, no manual step required. We do not keep copies and we do not build a library of downloaded content.
A live countdown timer is displayed on the page immediately after your file is ready, so you always know exactly how much time remains before it expires. Once the timer reaches zero the file is removed and the download link is deactivated. If you need the file again, simply paste the link and convert it once more — there is no limit on how many times you may do so.
We do not ask you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information unless you choose to contact us directly (see Section 6).
Like any web server, our infrastructure automatically records standard server logs, including:
These logs are used solely for diagnosing technical issues and detecting abuse. They are not sold, shared, or used for advertising.
We use only essential, functional cookies (for example, to store your preferred theme or language). We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or behavioural analytics platforms that follow you across the web.
Conversion relies on publicly available audio sources. We do not embed third-party ad networks or social-media tracking scripts on our pages. If we ever add optional third-party integrations, we will update this policy accordingly.
Pondofy is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
If you reach out to us via our Contact page or by email, we will use your email address only to respond to your enquiry. We will never add you to a mailing list without your explicit consent.
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
